My twin would find it fitting that I ended the revision phase of Valo and Lane on the 13th Anniversary of his passing. He would find it as such because he told me in a dream to keep writing when I was ready to walk away from the craft two years ago. Luza is as much a result of his prodding as it was in creating a series that would serve as a lasting gift to my nieces and nephews. I think Stephen would appreciate those facts and that I put some winks into our childhood summers in all four books.
To that end, I wanted to briefly share that being self-published allows for some flexibility in the release schedule. With both books edited on my end, I have sent them off for my readers to look over. Once they are returned I will review and will then likely release for you the reader to enjoy. I imagine that could be in mid to late May or early June.
That is a significantly faster timeline compared to what I originally had planned. For fans of the series this should be a welcomed development. It also means I can focus on some other projects over the summer. Look for book three and book four descriptions in the weeks ahead. I still haven't decided if I will release both books at once or in a stagger. Regardless, the description for book three will be out before four. You don't want spoilers do you?
