Swimming With Angels A Grief/Biographical Fiction Novel
Eight years has passed since Christian’s twin brother Vincent died. Between this loss and a recent divorce, Christian now finds himself a shell of his former self, unable to move forward in his life. After a blind date that wasn’t, the two brothers reunite. Through Vincent’s prodding, Christian is forced to rediscover who he is and discover what is truly important in life. At the same time, Vincent must finally face the mistakes of his youth and figure out a way to navigate those skeletons without jeopardizing his brother’s presence and future.
This is the second book in the Vincent Chronicles series. Originally Running With Vince was going to be only one story, but after some time I realized I wanted to check in on Christian and his life after the original events in the first book. To appreciate his journey you do need to have read Running With Vince. Using some experiences from my life, I was able to craft a story and continue the tale for Christian and Vincent.
When we experience loss, those first few weeks and months seem to be the most trying. Yet many would also agree that while we learn to function without our loved ones, we adapt to this new reality. Sometimes our new reality isn't where we want to exist. This book focuses on what has changed for Christian and how with Vincent's help, there is still time to create the life Christian has always wanted.
